Fuji Electric Semiconductor (Malaysia) is proud to be the first integrated overseas production facility for power semiconductor. Since the inception, the Company is constantly embarking on a journey to achieve our mission of:

“Quality product with Strong and Effective Production capability at Lowest Costs to exceed the Customers’ Expectation”

We will continue to listen to the voices of our customers and maintain an accurate understanding of the Customers’ requirements. In pursuit to achieve our business goals, our Management and Employees shall not forget our roles in Corporate Social Responsibility, through our Community Outreaching Program and contribute to the local community.

Fuji Electric Semiconductor (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (FSM), established in March 1, 2008, is a fully-owned subsidiary of Fuji Electric Co., Ltd. (FEC)., FSM serves the market of the industrial Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) module, a high-power switching element used in inverter, UPS and electric motor, so as to meet the growing international demand, especially for the renewable energy market, such as solar and wind energy.

FEC, the parent company of FSM, has invested over the years to set up the manufacturing business of power semiconductors. FSM is the first overseas plant for semiconductor chip production. Besides that, FSM also caters for the IGBT module assembly production, which is the back-end process of IGBT-making after IGBT chip production. FEC bestows greater future prospects onto FSM by making FSM the first overseas plant with fully integrated production from chip production to IGBT Assembly.

FSM has started the IGBT module assembly since April 1, 2008. In April 2010, the chip production has also started production.

The company is located side by side with Fuji Electric (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. which produces magnetic disks in Kulim Hi-Tech Park of Kedah, Malaysia.
